Texas and Eastern Railroad

The Texas and Eastern Railroad (TERR) was founded in 1881 by the State of Texas to haul their freight. To this day, the TERR continues its operations by hauling chemicals, construction aggregates, industrial products, and offers railcar storage. This line operates from Union Pacific’s connection in Palestine, TX, and 30 miles to Rusk, TX, serving Anderson and Cherokee counties in eastern Texas.
