Position Overview:
The Vice President of Human Resources for Field Operations is a key member of the Jaguar Team Services leadership team, responsible for leading and executing Human Resource strategies that support operational excellence across all field-based functions. This role ensures alignment between Team Services initiatives and business objectives, with a strong focus on leadership development, workforce planning, team member relations, compliance, performance management, and culture reinforcement at the field level. The Vice President of Human Resources – Field Operations will also be responsible for helping to maintain the ONETEAM culture by fostering a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, and communication with all Jaguar Team Members.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Partner with field operations leadership to drive strategic human capital initiatives that support business performance.
- Translate business goals into actionable HR strategies to build a high-performing and engaged workforce.
- Serve as a key advisor to senior field leaders on organizational design, workforce optimization, and talent strategies.
Field HR Operations:
- Oversee the execution of HR practices across geographically dispersed field locations, ensuring consistency and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Lead initiatives to improve tea, engagement, morale, and retention in field operations.
- Ensure timely resolution of team member relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary actions in alignment with company policies.
Talent Management & Development:
- Lead efforts in succession planning, leadership development, and field-level training programs.
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes for critical field roles.
- Build career pathing programs that promote internal mobility and talent growth across operational teams.
Culture and Change Management:
- Champion the company’s values and culture, ensuring they are reflected in field operations.
- Lead change management initiatives in collaboration with operations leaders to drive cultural alignment and organizational transformation.
Compliance and Risk Mitigation:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, safety standards, and company policies.
- Proactively identify and mitigate HR-related risks within field operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior HR role supporting field or operational teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in team member relations, labor law compliance, organizational development, and strategic workforce planning.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed, and operationally driven environment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Work Environment:
- This role requires regular travel to field locations and facilities to maintain direct engagement with operations teams.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed to support operational needs and respond to field-based challenges.
